Carolina Eyck has been invited to play Lera Auerbach's Symphony no. 1 in the Brasilian town of Curitiba on 13th of May 2012. You can get more information about the venue and ticket sales on the website of the Teatro Guaira. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Osvaldo Ferreira.

For the third time a "Theremin Summer Academy" will be held by Carolina Eyck and Thierry Frenkel in the City of Colmar, an enchanting small medieval town in Alsace/France at about half an hour from German and Swiss borders. 

The program is, as last year, expanded to five days and comprises still more new options. Seen the limited time of such conventions and the rare occasions where thereminists and their teachers can meet, new group lessons which will start during the Summer Academy and be continued during the Without Touch Festival in Lippstadt, Germany from November 23 to 25, 2012 have been set up. The results will then be presented during a public concert in Lippstadt.

Concerts in Palermo on April 20th and 21st

Carolina and Vinzenz will be performing with Fondazione "The Brass Group" in Palermo. Together with Roberto Brusca (piano), Giuseppe Costa (bass) and Gianpaolo Terranova (drums) they will present their music in Italy for the first time!

After spending some time in the studio, Carolina Eyck and jazz guitar player Vinzenz Wieg are happy to present some new sounds, including songs and improvisations. Carolina and Vinzenz are still exploring new methods of collaboration - stay tuned for more information including concert dates!
