Carolina Eyck brings music from her newest album, Elegies for Theremin & Voice to Tufts University.In this lecture performance Eyck introduces the theremin to all curious people who would like to get to know the instrument, but also explains her current set-up for her Elegies show. Eyck uses multiple controllers to direct sound in space, allowing her theremin to break free and fill the space, in sync with the movement of her dance-like performances. She will be demonstrating this with a 6.1 surround sound set-up as well as performing a part of her show.
